Health officials predict flu 'epidemic' over holidays in B.C.

Health officials are predicting an “epidemic” of influenza over the Christmas and New Years holidays in B.C.
In a news release Thursday, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control warned British Columbians that influenza activity is increasing heading into the holidays.
They say high-risk individuals and their close contacts should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
