Greyhound pullout leaves small B.C. communities disconnected

Communities across B.C. that heavily rely on Greyhound for transportation are expressing concern after the bus line announced it plans to shut down operations in Western Canada.
“It’s devastating for our community, there’s no question about it. What are we supposed to do?” said Merritt Mayor Neil Menard. The town has no scheduled air services. Menard said Greyhound is the “primary mode of transportation” for many residents of the town.
