Granville Island eliminating free parking during peak hours

Starting next summer, you’ll have to pay up to park at Granville Island during peak hours.
The popular Vancouver attraction is implementing a new parking system that will include all public parking stalls on the Island.
Pay parking will be in effect between 11 a.m and 6 p.m. with a winter-time rate (Oct. 1-April 30) of $2 per hour and a summer-season rate of $3 per hour.
