Fog advisory issued for South Coast

Environment Canada is warning people that some areas of Metro Vancouver, eastern Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Southern Gulf Islands could find fog so heavy visibility is near zero.
“Moisture trapped under a strong temperature inversion will continue to give fog and areas of poor visibility tonight. The fog is forecast to dissipate Thursday morning as a Pacific frontal system approaches the coast,” they said in a statement.
