Extradition case for Huawei exec Meng Wanzhou put over to May 8

The Chinese executive whose arrest in Vancouver touched off an international furor appeared briefly in B.C. Supreme Court on Wednesday and had her case put over to May 8.
It had been anticipated that the appearance of Meng Wanzhou, who is being sought for extradition to the U.S., would result in a date being set for her extradition hearing.
But a lawyer for Meng indicated that there may be several applications that need to be dealt with before the hearing can go ahead. The case will come back to
