Editorial: Replacing Greyhound bus service will be a tall order

The announcement this week that Greyhound Canada would end its passenger and freight services in Western Canada Oct. 31 did not come as a complete surprise.
It discontinued northern B.C. routes June 1, prompting the B.C. government to launch B.C. Bus North with $2 million in funding a few days later. B.C. Bus North is a pilot program operated by B.C.
