Derelict boats declared nuisance and ordered removed from Steveston

Two derelict fishing boats have been declared a nuisance and ordered removed from Steveston harbour.
The Western Breeze and the Neekis have been moored in the small craft harbour since the 1980s and were operated as commercial fishing vessels until 2005.
But, in November 2017, the Steveston harbour authority, which has a head lease for the harbour, gave notice to the owners of the two vessels to leave.
When the owners refused to move the boats to another location, the harbour authority, which is
