Deadline looms for Vancouver empty home tax declarations

Thousands of Vancouver homeowners who have yet to declare the status of their properties have until this Friday, Feb. 2 to do so, or else risk facing tens of thousands of dollars in additional property taxes this year as the city rolls out the country’s first empty homes tax.
