Daily Poll: Should Vancouver ban single-use plastics?

They are choking wildlife and destroying sensitive ecosystems in the ocean. Single-use plastic straws, coffee cups, water bottles, six-pack rings, plates, cutlery, even toothbrushes: The list is long. Several nations are drawing up laws to ban some of these items, as the destruction becomes more urgent. For example, Britain is looking at a ban on plastic straws, while the European Union may ban single-use plastics as early as this summer.
