Daily Poll: Should Surrey have its own police force?

Surrey councillor and mayoral candidate Tom Gill would like to see Surrey have its own police force. He’s proposing that Surrey hold a referendum in 2019 to decide if the city would be better served by its own municipal force in place of an RCMP detachment.
