Crown seeks jail term for man who sexually assaulted UBC student

The Crown is seeking a sentence of two years less a day in jail for a man convicted of sexually assaulting a female student at a fraternity house at the University of British Columbia.
In August last year, Mathew Aaron Shufelt, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of sexually assaulting the student, who cannot be identified because of a court-ordered publication ban.
