Convenience key reason for car-sharing: B.C. survey

Convenience, not the environment, was chosen by an overwhelming majority of people as the top reason why they use car-sharing, according to the results of a survey released today.
Of 4,050 people contacted in B.C. in an online survey by Vancity, convenience was cited by 95 per cent as the top reason why they choose to car-share. In second spot was saving money at 62 per cent, closely followed by “just in case you need it” at 61 per cent. In fourth spot was the environment at 58
