Contentious parts of Vancouver Chinatown plan revised
Vancouver council revised its Chinatown plan Tuesday, lopping some height off potential development sites and shrinking their width.
The changes were recommended by staff so new developments “fit better with the historic and cultural character of the neighbourhood.”
The proposals will be sent to a public meeting that will be scheduled at a later date.
