Child pricked by discarded needle at Victoria McDonald's restaurant

VICTORIA — Police are investigating after a three-year-old child was pricked by a syringe Monday at a McDonald’s restaurant in Victoria.
The parents, who said they were responding to their crying child in the eatery in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, saw an uncapped syringe, said Victoria police spokesman Const. Matt Rutherford.
The child was taken to hospital and has since been released.
