By the numbers: B.C. to fund more MRIs

The provincial government announced Tuesday enough funding to increase the yearly total of magnetic resonance imaging scans performed in B.C. by 20 per cent.
According to health minister Adrian Dix, over the next year, 37,000 more scans will be performed versus the past year.
All agencies in the province will see an increase, but both the Interior and Northern Health authorities will feel the greatest positive impact.
