Butts or Wilson-Raybould: How do we decide whose story to believe?

Gerald Butts and Jody Wilson-Raybould gave conflicting testimonies about SNC-Lavalin, but whose version of the truth we believe is influenced by partisanship and power structures, according to two experts.
During his testimony Wednesday at a hearing of the House of Commons justice committee, Butts, former principal secretary to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, repeatedly contradicted the testimony that former attorney-general Wilson-Raybould gave Feb. 27. Butts didn’t say outright that Wilso
