Burnaby bush fire briefly halts service on SkyTrain's Expo Line, causing delays

A bush fire in south Burnaby briefly halted trains on SkyTrain’s Expo Line Friday evening.
While the fire was small, its proximity to the guideway between 22nd Street Station & Edmonds Station forced the line out of service momentarily as authorities assessed the blaze just after 6 p.m, TransLink told frustrated commuters in a series of tweets.The fire was quickly doused by crews, and at 6:30 p.m., the fire department gave the all-clear and train service resumed.
