Bowen Island beer recalled because of defective cans

Fans of Bowen Island brews may want to check their cans before they take a swig: the rims may have a sharp edge.
The B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch announced Monday that some cans from the Vancouver-based brewer have a defective rim and that those cans are being voluntarily recalled.
The affected cans are for Artisan IPA — lot number L18207, L18187 and L18215 — and West Coast Lager — lot number L18207. These cans are sold in six-packs and the lot number can be found on the bot
