Body of missing kayaker recovered from Capilano River

The body of a kayaker who went missing on the Capilano River has been recovered.
Crews resumed the recovery mission Tuesday morning at first daylight, after the search for the 49-year-old North Vancouver man was suspended due to dangerous conditions the previous evening.
North Vancouver RCMP say they received a call about a kayaker in distress on the swollen and fast-moving river on Monday afternoon.
