Beware of these scams, say Richmond RCMP

If you have been receiving more calls and texts from scammers than usual, the Richmond RCMP says you’re not alone.
Cpl. Dennis Hwang says spring has brought with it a new selection of scams meant to part you from your money.
“Richmond RCMP issued a warning to the public about various scams throughout the year. During some periods, certain scams are more prevalent than others,” Hwang said in a news release.
