B.C.’s new community benefits construction pacts prioritize Indigenous, women, unions

The B.C. government has introduced a community benefits agreement for major public-sector infrastructure projects, which will prioritize hiring and training for Indigenous people, women and locals, and require workers to be paid union wages.
