B.C. Wildfire: State of emergency declared in Peachland

A state of local emergency has been declared in the district of Peachland as a number of wildfires in the area continue to burn out of control.
The biggest fire, the Mount Eneas blaze, has charred approximately 10-square-kilometres of bush and timber about four kilometres south of the city of Peachland on the west sie of Lake Okanagan.
The B.C. Wildfire Service says the fire is threatening structures and evacuations have been ordered for several properties along Highway 97 and Log Chute Roa
