B.C. premier condemns U.S. policy on separating migrant children from parents
B.C. Premier John Horgan is adding his voice to a growing list of world leaders condemning the U.S. in its actions allowing migrant children to be separated from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border and detained.
In a statement Wednesday, on World Refugee Day, Horgan blasted the U.S. over this “unnecessary trauma.”
“Our government condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the current U.S. government policy to separate asylum-seeking families from their children,&rdquo
