B.C. norovirus outbreak linked to raw oysters

The B.C. Centre of Disease Control says contaminated raw oysters are to blame for a recent outbreak of norovirus.
Approximately 40 cases of acute gastrointestinal illness have been reported to public health authorities since March 18.  The BCCDC says all of the ill people reported consuming raw B.C. oysters.
The agency says laboratory testing confirmed the presence of norovirus in some of the cases and it is suspected in the others.
