B.C. man dead after stopping to help with crash on Coquihalla Highway

MERRITT — A Good Samaritan has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Coquihalla Highway near Merritt.
RCMP say in a news release that the 35-year-old man from the Lower Mainland stopped to help in an initial collision on Highway 5 about 32 kilometres south of Merritt on Sunday afternoon.
They say the unidentified man was stuck and killed by another vehicle.
