B.C. man Curtis Sagmoen loses bail bid

VERNON — A British Columbia man accused of violence against women has lost his bid for bail in a courtroom in Vernon where spectators responded with applause.
Thirty-eight-year-old Curtis Sagmoen will remain in custody while he awaits a trial on charges related to an incident last year when he allegedly threatened a woman with a firearm while disguising his face.
