The B.C. government is targeting drivers in its crackdown on illegal ride-hailing services operating in Metro Vancouver.
Several companies — operating under the names Longmao, Udi Kuaiche, U Drop, RaccoonGo, GoKabu, Dingdang Carpool and AO Rideshare — have developed Chinese-language ride-sourcing apps and are recruiting drivers to operate their personal vehicles as unlicensed taxis.
