Bacon witness says he didn't panic when gunman opened fire

A witness at the Jamie Bacon trial said Wednesday that he didn’t run away as bullets “whizzed by” his head during an attempted murder a decade ago because he knew the gunman wasn’t aiming at him.
The former Bacon associate, who can only be identified as AB due to a publication ban, strongly disagreed with defence lawyer Kimberly Eldred who suggested the man would have “run for your life” because of his proximity to shooting victim Dennis Karbovanec.
