Anthony Bourdain 'changed our lives,' says Vij's

Local chefs reacted with sadness today on learning that American TV celebrity and food writer Anthony Bourdain committed suicide while working in France. He was 61.
In 2008, Bourdain shot an episode of his Travel Channel TV show, No Reservations, in Vancouver. On that episode, he was joined by Vancouver Chefs Pino Posteraro, Hidekazu Tojo and Vikram Vij.
Bourdain also visited Whistler and ate Japadog.
On Friday, Vij’s restaurant tweeted out: “We are devastated to learn of the passing
