Americans in Vancouver plan downtown protest on Thursday evening

American citizens in Vancouver are planning a protest Thursday following the firing by U.S. President Donald Trump of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Plans are for a protest to be held at 5 p.m. in front of the U.S. consulate at 1075 West Pender St.
It will be linked to similar “massive ’emergency’ protests” in Toronto and Victoria as well as some 900 other cities across North America, according to organizers.
