Alberta man swept away in B.C.'s Kitimat River found dead

KITIMAT — A 39-year-old Alberta man swept away in the Kitimat River on Saturday has been found dead.
Kitimat RCMP, Kitimat Search and Rescue and Terrace Swift Water Rescue located the body just after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The British Columbia Coroners Service is investigating the man’s death.
The unidentified man is believed to have been thrown from an inflatable boat that capsized near a logjam.
