Air-quality advisory for Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver released its 16th air quality advisory of 2017 for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley because of high concentrations of fine particulate matter and an anticipated increase in ground-level ozone.
The combination of near record-breaking high temperatures and a weather pattern that includes a ridge of high pressure over B.C. has affected air quality.
