Air Canada flight turned back to Vancouver for hydraulic issue
An Air Canada flight that left Christmas Eve morning for Maui was turned back to Vancouver while mid-flight due to a “hydraulic indication.”
The flight departed Vancouver around 8:44 a.m. on Monday but was turned around about two hours into what’s typically a six-hour journey.
“AC535 Vancouver-Maui, a Boeing 737 with 167 passengers on board, is returning to Vancouver for maintenance reasons due to a hydraulic indication,” said Air Canada spokeswoman Isabelle Arthur
