After pilot project, TransLink to bring 32 double-decker buses to Metro Vancouver

TransLink’s double-decker bus pilot project is nearing its end, but don’t expect the tall buses to disappear from Vancouver.
In fact, soon you’ll be seeing them even more often, as the transportation authority has announced plans to bring a fleet of 32 double-decker buses to Metro Vancouver by 2019.
After testing a pair of the buses, supplied free of charge from British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis, TransLink has clearly decided the double-decker diesels are the way to go.
