Aerial spray will target gypsy moths in North Surrey

The B.C. government will take to the skies in May for an aerial spray attack on a gypsy-moth infestation in North Surrey.
The Forests Ministry announced Wednesday that 62 hectares of residential and municipal park land will be sprayed beginning in May and ending June 30.
The aerial spraying aims to eradicate a growing population of the introduced pest and minimize the risks they pose to forests, farms, orchards and trees.
