Vancouver’s Mythos was formed by Bob D’Eith (piano) and Paul Schmidt (guitar) in the mid-1990s to make music that was predominantly instrumental using guest singers to do vocalizations rather than perform lyrics. Among those who have worked with the band is Jasmin Parkin of Mother Mother.
At the time, their music was described as New Age, although it also could be considered adult instrumental as well, with similarities to Enigma and others.
