1,000 SFU students in residence get a grand old welcome

Mazvita Mugova, just 19, arrived from Zimbabwe with one of her favourite teddy bears. After the first-year Simon Fraser University computer science student gets settled in her residence room, mother Memory Mugova plans to take her to Wal-Mart to pick up a few more.
“So she can cuddle them and she doesn’t feel lonely,” says mom.
