Young Mattawa student offered money to help stranger

A student at St. Victor school alleged he was offered $10 to help a pickup driver get his vehicle unstuck this morning around 9:05 a.m.
Ontario Provincial Police officers from the Mattawa detachment responded to the complaint of a suspicious person.
Police stated a nine-year-old child was walking on Henry Street, near Lily Street, in the Town of Mattawa when a pickup truck was parked on the side of the road with a driver inside.
