W.J. Fricker evacuated due to broken gas line

W.J. Fricker students have been relocated to Laurentian Learning Centre this afternoon due to a gas leak.
Parents were notified around 2:30 p.m. of the incident via email.
The Near North District School Board stated in the email that the matter has been investigated an “we now have confirmation that there is a broken gas line on the roof at W.J. Fricker.”
According to the board, a repair company has been contacted, but the school remains off limits to students and staff until repairs
