Widdifield, Fricker to stay open for 2019/20

Widdifield Secondary School and W. J. Fricker will remain open for the 2019/20 school year, Near North District School Board trustees voted at a committee meeting Tuesday night.
Trustees also voted to transition the graduating Grade 8 students from Fricker to Widdifield as in past years.
The proposed motion was unanimously agreed to by the trustees and is expected to be passed at the board’s Jan. 22 regular meeting.
