West Ferris Arena open; Memorial Gardens remains closed

The city is expected to have a report from a structural engineer to determine the cause of cracks in a wall at Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Gardens remains closed following cracks that developed in the drywall on some non-bearing walls forcing the cancellation of an OHL game Thursday night between the North Bay Battalion and the Barrie Colts.
This is the second time the city has been forced to closed an arena within two weeks.
