Two face firearms, drug charges

Two men have been charged after a loaded handgun and a large quantity of drugs was seized after a traffic stop Tuesday night.
North Bay OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding in Callander at about 11:30 p.m.. Officers became suspicious while talking to the driver and arrested the driver and passenger at the scene.
Drugs suspected to be cocaine and marijuana were seized, while the handgun was located in the vehicle.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at $27,000.
