The 'first, first responders' in an emergency

Christine Corbeil has experienced a variety of emergencies and tragedies in her 15 years of dispatching at the North Bay Central Ambulance Communications Centre (CACC).
Corbeil’s fondest memory is providing emergency child birth instructions over the phone to a father. While emergency responders raced to the scene, Corbeil helped the father to deliver the family’s first child — a baby girl.
