Temiscaming Hospital's emergency dept evacuated due to snow load on roof

A portion of the Témiscaming-Kipawa Multiservice Centre was evacuated on Thursday after cracks were spotted in the structure.
Renee Labonne, spokeswoman for the centre, said the services affected are the emergency department, medical laboratory and radiology. The services were closed Thursday 4 p.m. until Friday morning.
According to a media release, the evacuation affected three users – one person hospitalized in the short-term unit and two residents in long-term accommodation.
