Snowmobiler charged after driving into vehicle

West Nipissing police have charged a snowmobiler who ran into another vehicle Tuesday.
Police said in a release that officers observed a male snowmobiler operating the machine without a helmet while travelling on Railway Street in Sturgeon Falls.
When police attempted to speak the driver, he took off at high speed, driving in an unsafe manner before striking the other vehicle.
The operator abandoned the snowmobile but was apprehended by officers.
