Snow squalls expected late today

A snow squall watch is in effect for North Bay, Powassan, Mattawa and West Nipissing.
Snow squalls are expected to develop later today as a result of strong southwest winds which will usher in colder air.
Accumulations tonight may exceed 15 cm in some spots. However, the snow squalls should shift from time to time, which should help limit the accumulations. Areas of very poor visibility in blowing snow are likely, as well.
These snow squalls may slowly shift southward on Wednesday.
