Sledders crossing fingers after Friday's rain

Volunteers are crossing their fingers that Friday’s rain didn’t destroy the hundreds of hours they’ve put in preparing and grooming area snowmobile trails.
As of Friday, the only trail systems available for limited use in the district are in Bonfield and Mattawa. All other snowmobile trails remain closed.
“We’re not sure how they’ve survived” says Ken Prescott, president of the Bonfield Snowmobile Club.
