Production at Columbia in Rutherglen shut down due to roof issues

Columbia Forest Products was forced to shut down production after the roof started to buckle due to the heavy snow load.
The closure at the hardwood veneer plant in Rutherglen went into effect Jan. 28 at 1:35 p.m. following a forced evacuation.
