POLICE DIGEST: Counterfeit $50 bills; stolen rifles

Counterfeit $50 bills investigated
West Nipissing police are investigating a complaint of counterfeit money after a resident came forward advising he had received two $50 bills in exchange for smaller denomination bills.
The suspect provided the victim with an excuse as to why he needed smaller bills so the complainant provided the suspect with Canadian $20 and $10 bills, in exchange for the two $50.
When examined closely the victim discovered some anomalies and reported the incident to police.
