Naloxone helps save restaurant patron
West Nipissing police helped save a man’s life March 22 at the Mr. Sub on Front Street in Sturgeon Falls.Police were called after a patron locked himself in the restaurant’s washroom. He was unconscious on the floor showing signs of an overdose.
The responding officer administered two doses of naloxone to inhibit the possible effects of opiates. Paramedics attended to provide further treatment and transported the man to hospital.Police identified
